A new country for our traditional European concert: for the first time ever, the Berliner Philharmoniker travel to Georgia, the home of Lisa Batiashvili. In the picturesque setting of the Tsinandali Estate, our Artist in Residence will perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto under the baton of Daniel Harding. The performance aims to initiate closer cooperation between the country’s rich classical music scene and leading orchestras and cultural institutions in Europe. At the same time, it is a sign of solidarity in the context of the Ukraine conflict.
