The Deutsche Bank is exhibiting seven works from the Sandstars series by Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco. The rasterised photographs show flotsam and jetsam that the artist found on the coast of the Mexican nature reserve Isla Arena. He questions the boundaries between nature and humanity, hinting at a past civilisation that can only be reconstructed through its garbage. At the same time, he reflects on systems of order and typologies – contexts with which we try to understand the natural world and the cosmos.

The exhibition can be viewed free of charge during the concerts.
Guided tours also take place on the following dates:

Thu 13.02.25 19:15 and Fri 14.02.25 19:15
Thu 20.02.25 19:15 and Fri 21.02.25 19:15
Thu 27.02.25 19:15 and Sat 01.03.25 18:15

Meeting point: Visitors with concert tickets meet shortly before the start of the tour at the entrance to the Green Room in the foyer of the Great Hall. Those who would like to see the exhibition but do not have concert tickets can join the tour at 19:00 or 18:00 at the artists’ entrance on Potsdamer Straße; they will be escorted back outside after the tour.

Climate change, conflicts, poverty, food insecurity and displacement are increasingly overlapping, forcing more and more people to flee in search of safety. The UNO Flüchtlingshilfe’s exhibition “Climate Change and Migration” sheds light on how natural disasters, droughts, and rising sea levels destroy livelihoods and contribute to the causes of displacement. Through personal stories of refugees and illustrative examples of climate-friendly initiatives in the context of displacement, it shows that it is not too late to take action.

The exhibition can be viewed around the time of the concerts.

Sustainable consumerism
An exhibition organised by NABU

13.02.–01.03.25
Philharmonie, Main auditorium, upper foyer

Only if the global exploitation of resources is stopped will future generations be able to enjoy a biodiverse planet, a stable climate and sufficient reserves. In this exhibition, NABU shows how politicians, companies and, last but not least, every individual can get actively involved.

The exhibition can be viewed during the concerts.
