For children between 3 and 5 years old
Gigi, our musical explorer, embarks on several eventful journeys this season. But how do you get from A to B? With the help of music, everything is possible: train and carriage rides, flying high above the clouds, and rowing through water. Even the most dizzying adventures can feel boring if you travel alone. But Gigi finds a solution for that too.
In our interactive concerts for children aged 3 and above, the immediate proximity of music, dance, and rhythm vibrates through the body of the listener. Each concert focuses on different instruments played by members of the Berliner Philharmoniker or its Karajan Academy. A shared stage area is created in the upper foyer of the chamber music hall, bringing together children and artists. Our young guests sit on cushions right in the middle, experiencing enchanting, wordless stories.
Seating for ccompanying adults is provided around this musical playground. The entire audience is encouraged to participate!
A seasonal programme booklet complements the four interactive concerts. It introduces the instruments and inspires participation, curiosity, games, and craft activites through a series of creative tasks.
